Description:
The subject of the competition is a conceptual design of a new park in the Mladost district in the city of Gabrovo, according to the Terms of Reference attached to this documentation.
The land northeast of the property of the newly built church "St. St. Onuphrius, Damascene and all the martyrs of Gabrov" is a private municipal property, with an area of 13,409 square meters.m. The idea is to create a public park, with the terrain formed and used for landscaping and for temporary open objects for active and passive recreation, so as not to hinder the subsequent realization of what is foreseen by the PUP. The immediate vicinity of the school "St. St. Cyril and Methodius", the new church and pthe adjacent neighborhoods with complex residential development substantiate the urban planning necessity and expediency of this undertaking. The intention to create a new open green space for physical activity, for gathering and socializing and simply for relaxation, by shaping this terrain for park aims to improve the quality of life and the environment for the residents of the neighboring districts.
