Description: In order to prevent major accidents involving dangerous substances and to limit their consequences for human life and health and for the environment, any operator of a new or existing establishment and / or facility where dangerous substances are present under Annex № 3 of the EPA, is obliged to classify the enterprise and / or the facility in accordance with the criteria under the same Annex and to document the performed classification. In the cases when according to the performed classification the enterprise and / or the facility is classified with low risk potential or enterprise and / or facility with high risk potential, the operator is obliged to submit a notification for the performed classification.
