- The purpose of the public procurement is to designate a contractor and to conclude a contract with it for the development of a conceptual project for the complete securing of the transport direction Sofia-the tower in the Simitli-Kresna section, outside the Kresna Gorge.
The present public procurement has been prepared in implementation of item I.3 of the roadmap, adopted by Decision No. 62 of the Council of Ministers of February 12, 2025.
The subject of the public procurement includes (a description of the contract activities):
Study-project works are carried out in three stages, the purpose of the former being to obtain sufficient information about Determination and feasibility of the route and data, and documentation necessary for conducting environmental procedures.
A) Stage 1:
Project development should include but not limited to the following project activities:
-Developing an impact assessment on road safety;
-Evo- and analysis of available geological, hydrogeological, geophysical and environmental studies. Information must be provided on existing data and map materials for the geomorphology of the terrain, geological structure, lithological composition, tectonic zones, hydrogeological conditions, weak sections. A program for Performing an engineering-geological and hydrogeological study of the route, which will take place in the next stage.
