- The subject of this order includes the creation of an information system for the generation, maintenance and provision of postal codes and a database of postal codes in the Republic of Bulgaria. The purpose of the procedure is to introduce a system for the formation of postal codes by upgrading an entitysystem for the formation of postal codes in the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as the development and introduction of an information system for generating, maintaining and providing postal codes. The basis for developing the system for the formation of postal codes is the provision of art. 15, para. 1, item 8 of the Postal Services Act (ZPU).
The system must provide the following basic functionalities:
• Generating postal codes;
• Database management and maintaining a register of postal codes;
• Postal code reference through entering an address;
• Address referenceby entering a postal code;
• Provision of information on request for groups of postal codes according to various criteria (town, municipality, district, coordinates);
• Provision of information on postal codes on request of departments of the state administration, the National System for sleepingus calls with a single European number 112, etc.
The development of the system will include:
• development of the main register maintained by the KRS and its connection to the environment for inter-register exchange (RegiX), through the development of an adapter to RegiX
