The water supply supplies drinking water the population of the town of Dospat.
Much of the plumbing system is physically obsolete depreciated and worn out of long-term operation. The operation of the water supply is accompanied by frequent accidents and they are the cause of irregular use of water. Old tubes are severely damaged, in places with cracks leading to large water and health risks to the health of the population.
