- The village of Sklava numbers 1497 inhabitants. It is located 10 km southeast of Sandanski. The population increases naturally and in mechanical growth. There are mineral springs between the village of Sklave and the village of Spatovo that favors the development of balneotherapy and tourism.
In the bedOn the Sklovska River are the earth and rock masses, destroyed residential properties, for the most part in the river bed is overgrown with shrubs and trees, some of which are demolished in rains, resulting in the rainwater coming out of the river bed and destroying the neighborhood of properties and roads usedfrom the population. The river needs urgent cleaning and recovery, as it has done four times major floods in the last 20 years, causing material damage to the population. As a result of prolonged torrential rains, material damage is done monthly to sites - municipalProperty, including rivers, adjacent roads and green area - the park near the river.
