- The subject of this public procurement is "Expanding the computing capacity of the infrastructure of a national statistical institute, by purchasing new servers and licenses for virtualization".
The scope of this public procurement includes the following activities:
- Delivery of 2 pieces servers for expanding the computing capacity of the NSI virtual infrastructure;
- Hardware installation, wiring and commissioning services.
- Delivery of virtualization software licenses for 2 hosts.
- Activation of the licenses and joining of the new ones servers to the existing vShere cluster 1.
- Warranty support according to the Technical Specification.
Taking into account the estimated value of the public procurement falling within the value thresholds, the current public procurement will be awarded by conducting an open procedure according to Art. 18, para. 1, item 1 ZOP.
Currently, the utilization of the physical resources of the ICT infrastructure serving the virtual environment exceeds the recommended levels for normal operation. This significantly limits the possibility of taking on peak loads in periods of active campaigns and puts the stability of the work environment at risk. Almost all of NSI's main information systems function in this virtual infrastructure, which makes its reliability critically important for the normal operation of the institution.
