Description:
Road HKV 1217 connects the village of Shishmanovo with the municipal center of Harmanli. It is characterized by a very low traffic intensity, mainly by cars. The existing pavement is 4 m wide, badly damaged, worn and deplaned, with potholes, edge subsidence and numerous patches. The width nand the pavement varies - from 4 m to 6 m in the widening curves. The bad condition of the banquettes makes it even more difficult for the cars to pass each other. The drainage has been well taken care of, but the lack of maintenance over the years has greatly reduced the efficiency of the system. The existing culverts are in good condition.Traffic on the road is two-way, but road signs and horizontal markings are completely absent. The general condition of the pavement allows the road to be rehabilitated.
