Description:
A professional services firmis sought to screen and identify potential low-carbonindustrial hubs and related hub sponsors and participants, for hard-to-abate manufacturing sectors (steel, cement, chemicals, glass and aluminum) in selected Eastern European countries (Poland, Romania,Bulgaria, Serbia and Ukraine).The expected decarbonizationvectors include: (i) low carbon energy solutions (e.g. renewable energy, waste-to-energy, etc.); (ii) decarbonization solutions (e.g. carboncapture, utilization and storage (CCUS); direct air capture; etc.); and (iii)where relevant, sustainability / circularity services (e.g. recycling, wasteand water management).Opportunities will includegreenfield and brownfield projects, including those enabled by virtual offtakeagreements, and may be centered around a particular target sector, ageographical location with a cluster of existing industrial operations or arounda particular decarbonization vector.
