"Performing preliminary studies on 4 items the archaeological site, within the scope of the project "Modernization of the railway line Vidin - Sofia: railway section Medkovets - Sratsimir, by specific positions" Before the start of construction and installation works for the actual implementation of the "Modernization" project on the Vidin - Sofia railway line: Medkovets - Sratsimir railway section", it is necessary to complete the preliminary surveys of archaeological sites within the scope of the Medkovets - Sratsimir railway section from km 84+829 to km 129+225, and to finally release the construction site. In this regard, in accordance with Art. 161, para. 1 of the Law on Cultural Heritage (CHL) and according to Chapter II, Section I of Ordinance No. H-00-0001 of the Ministry of Culture of February 14, 2011 for carrying out field archaeological studies, a search for archaeological sites was carried out along the route of the Vidin-Medkovets railway section. The scope of work for the four separate positions, the contractor to carry out archaeological excavations according to Ordinance No. H-00-0001/14.02.2011 for conducting field and archaeological surveys and the applicable legislation of the Republic of Bulgaria.
