- Carrying out a procedure for the selection of a carrier for the performance of public transport services by rail on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria from 01.01.2025, upon assuming a transport obligation and a tariff obligation, including the transport of passengers who are granted the right to freeor discounted travel. The assignment of an obligation for public transport services by rail is carried out in compliance with the requirements of Regulation (EC) No. 1370/2007 of the EP and of the Council of 23 October 2007 on public passenger transport services by rail and roadtransport and for the repeal of regulations (EEC) No. 1191/69 and (EEC) No. 1107/70 of the Council, the Railway Transport Act, the Ordinance on the assignment and fulfillment of obligations for the performance of public transport services in railway transport.
