• The public procurement has the subject: "Pre-design studies and conceptual projects for the Ruse, Gorna Oryahovitsa and Varna railway junctions on three separate positions", as follows: 1. Separate position No. 1: "Development of the Ruse railway junction" The linear infrastructure of the Ruse railway junction includes 7 one-way intermediate stations with a total length of the railway 31.65 km. The railway junction includes 5 railway stations, wagon repair and locomotive depots, specialized passenger and distribution stations, a port and a network of 49 industrial branch. The railway lines in the node are fully electrified with a voltage of 25 kV/50 Нz, with the exception of the Giurgievo North - Ruse distribution line. The stations in the hub are relatively poorly equipped with safety equipment and automated means of management the movement of trains, with the majority of switches being manually operated. The industrial branches falling within the scope of the Rousse railway junction are described in Appendix No. 1 to the Technical Specification - Appendix No. 1.1. 2. Specific position No. 2: "Development of Gorna Oryahovitsa railway junction" The linear infrastructure of the railway junction Gorna Oryahovitsa includes 7 intermediate stations with a total length of the railway of 60.67 km. The railway junction includes 6 railway stations, serves service railway branches of the sub-district by contact network, a wagon repair shop, a locomotive depot, the Gorna Oryahovitsa Power Section, the Gorna Oryahovitsa Railway Section, a sanitary site and a disinfection station, and a network of 14 industrial branches.
