- The selection of an operator according to the order of the ZOP is planned to be carried out in accordance with the specific requirements of the regulatory framework (ZUO, REGULATION No. waste treatment and transportation of production and hazardous waste (promulgated, SG No. 52 of 16.06.2023) and "ORDINANCE No. 6 of 27.08.2013 on the conditions and requirements for the construction and operation of landfills and other facilities and installations for the recovery and disposal of waste). the scope of the order also includes the implementation of the objectives of the municipalities under Art. 31, para. 1, item 4 and item 5 of the ZUO, in accordance with the current regulations
Estimated amount of mixed household waste that will enter the pre-treatment/separation installation from the five municipalities in the territory of "Yambol Region" for 1 year is 96,007.00 tons, and for the period of the contract - 5 years - 480,035 tons.
The implementation of the contract for the public procurement will be financed with funds from the revenues from the "household waste" tax of the municipalities of Yambol, Sliven, Nova Zagora, Tundzha and Straldzha.
