The village of Kozlets is located southwest of Haskovo. The water supply of the village of Kozlets is provided by low-flow captured springs. In the last 5-6 years, permanent drought has been observed in the area and the flow rate of the springs has significantly decreased. During the summer-autumn period of the year, there is a water supply regime, this had to look for an additional water source. Given the above circumstances, hydrogeological studies were carried out for water abstraction from underground water. South of the regulatory boundaries of the village of Kozlets in PI 37770.40.10 according to the KKKR of the village of Kozlets, Haskovo Municipality is fulfilled exploratory borehole, with a depth of 100.00 m. The same is public municipal property. Permit No. 31510761 /21.07.2025 was issued for the construction of the water source. for water abstraction from underground water, through new water abstraction facilities. The well is filled south of the regulatory boundaries of the village of Kozlets - in the PI with identifier 37770.40.10 according to the KKKR of the village of Kozlets, Haskovo Municipality. The geographic coordinates of the completed tube well in the WGS-84 system are N 41°49'42.9' E 25°27'48.1'. Executed at a depth of 100.00m. Necessary laboratory tests have been performed. A project for the establishment of a Sanitary Protection Zone (SZZ) has been prepared.
