The subject of the order is the selection of an operator for operation and management of the Regional Waste Management System in the Veliko Tarnovo region for the municipalities of Veliko Tarnovo, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Lyaskovets, Elena, Zlataritsa and Strazhitsa, including Cell No. 1 and Cell No. 2 of the Landfill for non-hazardous waste, installation for pre-separation of waste and composting plant. The main activities included in the scope of the contract are described in the current instructions for participation and technical specifications. Based on what is predicted in the mass balance with an appropriate coefficient of security and loss of working time, the Contracting Authority has accepted a total amount of incoming waste at the site of 64,000 t/year or 23.5 t/hour. That is, during the design of the MBT Installation, a total capacity of the MBT installation was assumed: 64,000 tons of domestic waste/year.
