- The scope of the order includes performing sterilization (steam/gas) and individual foiling of surgical instruments and consumables. In the Technical Specification, the estimated quantities by type of foil and types of drums are indicated containers and the mandatory performance characteristics, according to the regulations and functional requirements, to which the service must meet. The service should be performed in compliance with the existing regulatory hygiene norms and requirements for sterilization in medical practice, in accordance with established medical standards for the prevention and control of nosocomial infections. *The sterility of the materials is marked with standard sterility indicators. Sterilization of medical drums and containers by type will be carried out daily according to the following schedule from Monday to Friday: Delivery of non-sterile drums and containers - 2:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Return of sterile drums and containers, next working day - 06:30 - 07:00 h. * In case of emergency, the sterilization of medical drums and containers by type will be carried out within the same working day. For weekends and national holidays, the service will be carried out according to a schedule agreed between the parties. The reception and transmission for sterilization, is carried out against a signature (on both sides) in a Receiving-handover protocol with drums and containers described by types and quantities.
