  This public procurement is awarded in connection with the realization and updating of the parts by articles 8, 9 and 10 of Directive 2008/56/EC (Marine Strategy Framework Directive, RDMS).
  The subject includes preparing an updated assessment of:
  The state of the marine environment and anthropogenic pressures (Art. 8);
  The definitions of "good state of the marine environment" (Article 9);
  Environmental goals and the indicators for their achievement (Article 10).
  8, 9 and 10 of the RDMS, prepared for submission to the European Commission.
  Performance objectives:
  Update of the initial assessment (2012) and previous update (2021) of the state of the marine environment environment.
  Revising and updating the definitions of "good marine environmental status" (GAEC) under each descriptor.
  Updating the set of environmental goals and indicators for their tracking.
  Ensuring compliance with Decision (EU) 2017/848 and the latest scientific guidance on The European Commission and the Regional Maritime Convention (Bucharest Convention).
  The aim is to prepare the maritime strategy of the Republic of Bulgaria for the next implementation cycle (2028-2033), by collecting, analyzing and integrating the latest scientific and monitoring data for the Bulgarian part of the Black Sea sea.
