- The main winter maintenance activities include:
І. Preparatory works: 1. Preparation of an organizational plan for winter maintenance of municipal roads during the winter season; 2. Preparation of roads for operation in winter conditions.
ІІ. Snow removal and sandblasting activities: 1. Snow removal (patrolbut also periodically) of the roads until the corresponding degrees and level of winter maintenance are achieved.2. Securing the roads against slipping/sanding. 3. Round-the-clock technical personnel on duty
